  Claudia Bregliais an apprentice trained Licensed Midwife who has been attending homebirths since 1991. Before coming to California she had a homebirth practice on the Tennessee/Kentucky border primarily serving the local Amish and Mennonite communities. It was from these women that she learned a deep faith in the normality of the entire pregnancy and birth process. She has additional experience and training in waterbirth, VBAC, breech and twin birth at home, and is certified in CPR and Neonatal Resuscitation. She holds a Midwifery License from the Medical Board of California and is a Certified Professional Midwife, the national certification granted by the North American Registry of Midwives. Claudia lives in Sacramento and is currently the president of the California Association of Midwives.
 Jen Brown attended National Midwifery Institute, a three year midwifery school, and received her clinical experience attending homebirths with Birthright Midwifery Service. While in her last year of midwifery school she became pregnant and had a wonderful waterbirth at home. She graduated from NMI and became a California Licensed Midwife and a Certified Professional Midwife in 2007. She has since received additional training in breastfeeding counseling and problem solving, breech birth, VBAC at home, and is certified in CPR and Neonatal Resuscitation. She currently lives in Cameron Park. |
